Abstract

The present study was carried out to determine the microstructural properties of Lantana camara L. in the Doon Valley forest. Wood fiber dimensions such as length, diameter, lumen width, cell wall thickness, runkel ratio, slenderness ratio, and flexibility ratio of Lantana camara were investigated from the wood. The morphology of fibers and its fiber indices from this were done with the aim of grading pulp based on fiber morphology in paper manufacturing.
