Article Processing Charges (APC)
Article Processing Charges (APC) are a source of income for the journal, which helps to cover some of the costs associated with publishing. The journal is completely open access, does not impose subscription or access fees, and authors maintain all copyrights. We request that authors cover some of the expenses related to processing and disseminating their Open Access work. The author's contribution will assist the journal in covering the following expenses:
- A plagiarism check verifies the uniqueness of your work.
Comprehensive editorial feedback and peer assessment from reputable authorities in your area. - Our Editorial Analysts will thoroughly proofread and copyedit your piece to ensure it meets publishing standards.
- Typesetting and formatting for your work in PDF and HTML formats, and print editions upon request.
- For correct citation, use DOI, CrossMark, ORCID, and so on.
Permanent online hosting for your articles and unfettered worldwide access to your work. - Indexing in all relevant reference services and allied databases.
PhytoTalks is an open-access journal committed to transparent publishing practices. To ensure long-term digital preservation, DOI registration, editorial management, and platform maintenance, a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) is collected only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
No fee is charged at the submission or peer-review stage.
APC Amount
The following APC is applicable for manuscripts accepted after peer review:

What the APC Does Not Influence
To comply with COPE, DOAJ and UGC-CARE ethical standards, the APC has no role in editorial decisions.

Manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance.

Waiver requests do not affect the review outcome.

The decision to accept or reject a manuscript is independent of the authors’ ability to pay.
